Babes it's time to check-in with yourself. How are you?

Hard days are part of life. We cannot appreciate the good without having known challenges and heartache. I am thankful for the pain. Because of the pain, I am able to truly understand joy. But hard days are still hard and we need to have tangible tools right in front of us to cope

What can we do in those moments of overwhelm?

Checking in with my body and asking Her what she needs has been so helpful for me. My body is wise. She knows her needs. She is telling me her needs. It is my job to listen. Most often, she needs one of the following:
1.    Quiet
2.   Movement
3.   Food
4.   Water
5.    Rest

Checking in with my body.

I have been making it a practice to check in with my body throughout the day, instead of only during moments of overwhelm. Oftentimes, the overwhelming feeling can be avoided if I am paying attention to my needs before it becomes an emergency. I have dealt with anxiety my whole life and learning to listen to my body’s needs before I am in full meltdown mode has been SO helpful.

Our bodies are wise. They will tell you what you need. Stop. Listen. Honor

True beauty of the power of a woman

It is time we learn to love and accept ourselves entirely, wholeheartedly, and unapologetically.

We are all doing the best we can. We are all going through something that has never happened before. We are on the verge of a major shift. Keep going, my friends. Through the chaos. Through the mess. Through this life...together <3
