Fast fashion is contributing in a massive way to global warming, our landfill situation, and ocean waste.

We are in a shift. Personally, as a company, and as a society. The pandemic has brought a lot of things into perspective. After having lived through so much this last year, it has really opened a lot of our eyes to bigger issues in our world.
One of them is pollution, waste, and this idea of "more, more, more." Always looking for the next thing instead of being present in the moment. This translates to many areas in our lives. One of them is our wardrobe.
The fashion industry is the third leading cause of pollution and waste in our world. Fast fashion is contributing in a massive way to global warming, our landfill situation, and ocean waste. From the wasteful plastic packaging to the lack of recycling on our garments to the unethical mass production of clothing at factories, we can no longer turn a blind eye to these issues.
We need to shift, and we will do our part in being better for our planet.
Over this next year, you will see changes at Mary Rose. We will not be part of the problem any longer, we will be part of the solution.
It is time we are part of the solution.
We are shifting to sustainable, environmentally friendly clothing lines and are working on developing our own. Over this next year, you will see a shift to slow fashion. Our prices are going to increase, the amount of product we carry will decrease, and our focus is on quality, sustainability, and capsule wardrobing. Our goal is for you to have a collection of pieces that can be worn in multiple ways for many occasions.
Please be patient with us during this transition. It is not going to happen overnight. And there are limited brands that are size inclusive and sustainable. Which is one of the reasons we are making our own. Our own line will not be out though for about a year. These changes will not happen immediately, but we need to start. And we are starting now. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you so much for supporting our small business. Thank you so much for listening and being willing to learn and shift right alongside of us. We are getting through this pandemic together and we have all learned so much, we must make sure that we act on all that we have learned.
Petals of Hope. ETA Spring 2022
We are in the process of creating our own size inclusive, capsule wardrobe style, sustainable, eco-friendly line. Cannot wait for you all to see what we've been up to.

We are not defined by a number on the scale or a clothing size. We are so much more.
You are beautiful AND deserve to feel that way
